Terms of Service

Effective June 16, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DevCove (devcove.dev), including developer tools, courses, articles, and related website features. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

Summary

DevCove provides free, public developer tools and educational content. Most tools run in your browser; we do not require an account to use the public toolbox.

You must use the site lawfully and responsibly. Tools and content are provided for general developer convenience—not as professional, legal, or compliance advice.

The service

DevCove offers browser-based utilities (formatters, converters, generators, image tools, and similar), structured courses, and technical articles. Features may change over time: we may add, modify, suspend, or remove tools or pages without prior notice.

We strive for reliability and clarity, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that every output meets your production requirements without verification.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse DevCove or interfere with others’ use of the site.

  • Do not use the site for unlawful purposes or to violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service in ways that harm availability or security.
  • Do not use automated means to bypass reasonable rate limits, abuse protections, or tool usage boundaries.
  • Do not upload or process content through tools if you lack the rights or authorization to do so.

Tool outputs and your responsibility

Tool results (formatted text, converted values, compressed images, generated codes, validation messages, and similar) are provided “as is” for your convenience. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using them in production systems, published apps, legal documents, security-sensitive workflows, or other high-impact contexts.

DevCove is not responsible for data loss, misconfiguration, or downstream harm caused by relying on unchecked tool output.

Educational content

Courses and articles explain concepts, formats, and workflows for learning purposes. They may not reflect the latest vendor rules, standards revisions, or platform policies. Always confirm critical requirements against official documentation.

Intellectual property

DevCove and its licensors own the site design, branding, text, layout, and software used to deliver the service, except where third-party or open-source components apply under their own licenses.

You retain ownership of content you input into tools on your device. Using DevCove does not grant us ownership of your inputs for local-processing tools.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the public site for personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

Third-party services, links, and advertising

DevCove is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and may use analytics and search tools from Cloudflare and Google, as described in our Privacy Policy. Third-party services are subject to their own terms and policies.

The site may link to external documentation, standards, or other websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

We may display third-party advertising (for example Google AdSense) in the future. Advertisements are provided by third parties; we do not endorse advertised products or services. Ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies as disclosed in our Privacy Policy when advertising is enabled.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DevCove is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DevCove and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of the site or tool outputs.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the site will be limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us to use the affected service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD $100. Public tools are currently provided without charge, so (b) applies unless you have paid for a specific offering.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DevCove and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or restrict access to the site if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the service, users, or infrastructure. You may stop using DevCove at any time.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our services, legal requirements, or business practices change. We will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

General

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DevCove regarding use of the public site.

Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in the Privacy Policy.
