About this tool

DevCove Image Label Overlay helps you place a clean brand badge, glass plate, icon label, sticker, or simple cover block over an image area you are allowed to edit. It is designed for local image labeling and visual cleanup workflows: upload an image, pick a universal template, drag or resize it, customize colors and text, then export a new PNG, JPEG, or WebP. It does not identify platforms or perform AI inpainting.

How to use this tool

Use this overlay tool when you need a fast, local visual cover or label:

  1. Upload an image, drag a file onto the workspace, or paste a screenshot from the clipboard.
  2. Choose a universal overlay template such as Minimal tag, Glass plate, Check chip, or Spark label.
  3. Drag the template over the image area, then adjust width, height, text, and colors.
  4. Switch templates if you need a cleaner cover block, a branded badge, or an icon-style label.
  5. Click Download to export a new image. Your image stays in the browser throughout the process.

FAQ

Are my images uploaded?

No. Images are decoded, previewed, and exported entirely in your browser. DevCove does not receive your files.

Is this an AI watermark remover?

No. This tool does not detect platforms, erase pixels, or perform inpainting. It adds a draggable overlay template to images you are allowed to edit.

What is saved in localStorage?

Only the last-used template ID plus each template's own text, colors, width, height, and relative position are saved. The image file, file name, dimensions, and pixel data are not stored.

Can I use my own logo image as the overlay?

The first version focuses on built-in Canvas/CSS templates. Custom image stickers can be added later without changing the local-first model.

Will the exported overlay be sharp?

Yes. The template is redrawn on a Canvas at the original image resolution instead of scaling a low-resolution preview.
